Anpassungsf\u00e4higkeit an extreme Wetterbedingungen.<\/span><\/div><div class=\\\"default-style\\\" style=\\\"line-height: 1.8;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-family: courier new, courier, monospace;\\\">Als Reaktion auf das Artensterben starteten Franziska Hartmann und Jennifer Keusgen 2018 w\u00e4hrend ihres Master Studiengangs \\\"Integratives Design\\\" an der HGK Basel (CH) ein kleines Gedankenspiel bzw. Entwurfsspiel, bei dem t\u00e4glich eine neue Pflanze entworfen wurde. Mit der \\\"Erfindung\\\" fiktiver Pflanzen und Symbiosen, die \u00fcber konventionelle Entwicklungsprozesse hinausgehen, verfolgen sie das Ziel, neue Erz\u00e4hlungen f\u00fcr die Zukunft zu entwerfen.<\/span><\/div><div class=\\\"default-style\\\" style=\\\"line-height: 1.8;\\\"><span style=\\\"font-family: courier new, courier, monospace;\\\">Ausgangspunkt ist die Frage nach dem Einfluss von Hitze und Sonneneinstrahlung auf Pflanzen. Im Zentrum steht die Symbiose verschiedener Pflanzenarten, die sich miteinander verbinden, um den Herausforderungen extremer Wetterereignisse besser gewachsen zu sein. <\/span><br \/><span style=\\\"font-family: courier new, courier, monospace;\\\">Moose gelten als die \u00e4ltesten Landpflanzen unseres Planeten; sie sind sehr gen\u00fcgsam, beharrlich und besonders resilient. Sie k\u00f6nnen sowohl lange Trockenperioden als auch extreme Regenf\u00e4lle gut \u00fcberstehen. Der Apfel, eine wichtige Kulturpflanze Mitteleuropas, leidet unter den Wetterextremen und kann sich nicht so leicht anpassen. <\/span><br \/><span style=\\\"font-family: courier new, courier, monospace;\\\">Diese beiden Arten, Moose und \u00c4pfel, zeigen unterschiedliche Grade der Resilienz gegen\u00fcber Umweltver\u00e4nderungen und bilden das zentrale Element der Installation. Raumgreifende Aquarelle auf Textilbahnen mit \u00fcbergro\u00dfen k\u00fcnstlerischen Interpretationen von kleinen Moosen und der Entwicklung eines Apfels von Franziska Hartmann sind in warmen Rot- und Oranget\u00f6nen im Glashaus hintereinander aufgeh\u00e4ngt. Gem\u00e4\u00df der indigenen Weltsicht, die jede Pflanze als Wesen mit eigenem Willen erachtet, erscheinen Pflanzen an dem Ort und zu dem Zeitpunkt, an dem sie gebraucht werden. Sie finden ihren Weg dorthin, wo sie ihre Rolle aus\u00fcben k\u00f6nnen. (...) Immer wieder kommen Pflanzen genau dann, wenn man sie braucht. Sie tauchen \u00fcberall auf, als Teil der normalen, allt\u00e4glichen Landschaft, und so klein, dass wir sie oft gar nicht bemerken. Vielleicht weist das in der Zeichensprache der Pflanzen auf ihre Rolle in menschlichen Haushalten hin: eine geringe unauff\u00e4llige Rolle.
